Brazil 2044 is an innovation hub that aims to build public policies for the development of smart and sustainable cities. The strategy is to think about the future, envisioning what Brazilian cities will be like in 2044, and act in the present to promote sustainable economic development and quality of life for citizens. We will work with the analysis, creation, and dissemination of public policies (legislative proposals and special projects and plans) within Federal, State and Municipal levels. União Brasil will connect politicians, academics, and citizens to build innovative solutions for our cities.

ESG Excellence Center
Encouraging the adoption of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles and practices in public policies is one of the central priorities of Brazil 2044. Recognizing the growing relevance of the ESG agenda on the global stage, our program seeks to ensure that these guidelines are integrated in a practical and effective way in the construction of solutions for Brazilian cities.
We created the Brazil’s 2044 Public Policy Matrix to facilitate the organization of statistical data in technical notebooks and encourage collaborative debate with politicians, experts, and the community in the various areas of sustainable development. The entire information structure was built based on international references such as ISO 37120 (Sustainable development of communities -- Indicators for city services and quality of life).
